The Story Behind Beyond Ordinary Rings, LLC

My name is Steve Frank Schubert, and every ring that leaves my workshop carries more than craftsmanship—it carries a story.

My journey began in Machine Trades, where I learned the value of precision, patience, and attention to detail. “For many years, I proudly served my community as a paramedic, and I continue to serve as a 9-1-1 dispatcher.” These experiences taught me integrity, service, and the importance of life's meaningful moments.

I've also been fortunate to tell stories in other ways—owning an award-winning video production company and becoming an award-winning children's book author. But no matter where life led me, I always found myself drawn back to creating with my hands.

Nearly forty years after first learning the trade, I returned to the workshop and founded Beyond Ordinary Rings, LLC.

Today, I handcraft one-of-a-kind rings using extraordinary materials from around the world, including naturally shed deer, elk, and moose antlers, whiskey barrel wood, meteorite, fossils, historic sands, opals, and many other unique inlays. Every ring is handcrafted upon order, ensuring that no two are exactly alike.

To me, these rings are more than jewelry. They represent your family, your faith, your service, your profession, your passions, your adventures, and the memories that define who you are.
